Messecatering for glasstec: espresso for the world's glass industry
glasstec is the world's leading trade fair for glass production, processing and products — four days at Messe Düsseldorf, around 1,200 exhibitors from 50 nations and some 40,000 trade visitors. It is a serious, international B2B floor, and a professional coffee bar is one of the simplest ways to make your stand the one buyers remember.
What glasstec is, and who's at your counter
The fair in numbers.
Held every two years in October, glasstec covers the full glass value chain: machinery and plant, processing, flat and hollow glass, façades, and the crafts and architecture around them. It is a pure trade fair, so visitors are professionals, engineers, architects and buyers, many from abroad.
This audience walks long days between technical meetings. A genuinely good coffee at your stand is the break they want, and a reason to stop at yours rather than a competitor's. It keeps people at your counter long enough for a real conversation.
A technical, international crowd appreciates quality
Engineers and architects notice craft. A polished La Marzocco bar, careful extraction and latte art quietly signal the same precision you bring to your product, and give your stand a professional edge over the push-button brew next door.
Our baristas host in English and German, with more languages on request, matching the 50 nations on the glasstec floor. While the espresso is being made, your team already has an easy opening line with an international buyer.
Suggested setup for a glasstec stand
A professional, international B2B audience rewards quality, branding and multilingual hosting. Here is what we would put on your stand.
Premium La Marzocco bar
One well-run station of specialty espresso, dialled for quality. A technical B2B crowd values a genuinely good cup, and it sets a professional tone for your stand.
Multilingual barista hosting
With 50 nations on the floor, baristas who host in English and German, more on request, welcome international buyers and open conversations for your team.
Branded cups & logo latte art
Your logo in the foam and on the cup carries your brand across the hall and signals the same precision as your product.
Cold brew & signature drinks
A cold brew or signature option gives visitors something a little different between meetings, and keeps your stand interesting across four days.
After-hours cocktails
Hosting a stand reception? The same bar moves into the evening with cocktails and espresso martinis for buyers and partners.
Everything, from one team
Coffee anchors the stand, but it rarely travels alone. Tell us what your glasstec stand needs and we deliver it as one package: one team, one setup, one invoice.

Messecatering glasstec: questions exhibitors ask
How much space does the bar need at glasstec?
About 2 x 1 meters. It fits neatly into a glasstec stand, against a wall or in a corner, and still leaves room for your meeting area.
What do you need from us in the hall?
One standard 230V socket. No water connection. We bring the machine, grinder, specialty beans, milk, cups and the barista, set up the day before the fair.
Is the coffee good enough for an international B2B crowd?
Yes, that is the point. Specialty beans, a La Marzocco machine and a barista who dials in extraction before the doors open, so the cup matches the quality of your stand.
Which languages do your baristas speak?
English and German as standard, more on request, which matters with 50 nations represented at glasstec.
Can you also cover an evening reception?
Yes. The same bar moves into after-hours with cocktails and espresso martinis. Tell us your reception time and we plan the switch.
