Messecatering for CARAVAN SALON: coffee for a quarter-million visitors
CARAVAN SALON is the world's leading fair for mobile travel — ten days, around 750 exhibitors and well over 250,000 visitors, spanning two weekends at Messe Düsseldorf. It is one of the biggest, longest and most public fairs on the calendar. On a floor this busy, a coffee bar is what makes your stand the one people stop at.
What CARAVAN SALON is, and who fills your stand
The fair in numbers.
Held at the end of August and into September, CARAVAN SALON fills the halls with caravans, motorhomes, camper vans, tents and the full world of camping and mobile travel. Unlike a trade-only fair, it is open to the public, so the crowd is enormous, enthusiastic and here to browse for days.
That is a rare gift and a real test: hundreds of thousands of potential buyers walking past your vehicles, but ten long late-summer days to staff. A professional coffee bar keeps the energy up, gives families a reason to pause at your stand, and turns a quick look into a proper conversation with your team.
Big, warm, ten days long
The scale is the point. With this much foot traffic, the difference between a stand people drift past and one they stop at is often a single reason to pause. The aroma of fresh espresso and the buzz of a short queue is exactly that reason, and in late-summer heat an iced coffee is even more welcome.
Across ten days and two weekends, consistency matters as much as quality. We staff the bar so the hundredth flat white is as good as the first, keep the queue lively rather than long, and free your team to talk vehicles instead of making drinks.
Suggested setup for a CARAVAN SALON stand
Huge crowds, warm weather and ten long days reward volume, cold drinks and consistency. Here is what we would put on your stand.
Two-station high-volume bar
With 250,000+ visitors over ten days, throughput matters. Two La Marzocco stations and baristas keep the queue lively and moving through the busy weekend peaks.
Iced coffee & cold brew
Late August and September can be warm. Iced lattes and cold brew keep visitors refreshed and lingering at your stand longer.
Barista hosting for a public crowd
A friendly, family-facing crowd. Baristas who greet warmly and keep the mood light turn browsers into conversations with your sales team.
Branded cups & logo latte art
A cup with your logo travels the whole fairground in a visitor's hand — free, mobile advertising across two busy weekends.
Snacks & breakfast for long days
Ten full days is a marathon. Pastries, fruit and light bites keep both your team and your visitors going from open to close.
Everything, from one team
Coffee anchors the stand, but it rarely travels alone. Tell us what your CARAVAN SALON stand needs and we deliver it as one package: one team, one setup, one invoice.

Messecatering CARAVAN SALON: questions exhibitors ask
How much space does the bar need at CARAVAN SALON?
About 2 x 1 meters per station. It fits easily alongside vehicles on a CARAVAN SALON stand, and we plan the position so the queue draws people in without blocking the walk-through.
What do you need from us in the hall?
One standard 230V socket per station. No water connection. We bring the machine, grinder, beans, milk, cups and the barista crew, set up the day before.
Can you keep up over two weekends?
Yes. Each station serves 100 to 150 drinks per hour, and for the weekend peaks we add a second station and barista so the queue stays a magnet, not a wall.
Do you serve iced drinks?
Yes. For a late-summer fair we recommend iced lattes and cold brew alongside the hot menu, which are very popular in the warmer halls.
Can you staff all ten days consistently?
Yes. We plan the crew across the full run and both weekends so quality and pace stay the same from the first day to the last.
